Mrs. Julie Galliano is truly one of a kind. Yes, we see plenty of patients but non-quite like Julie! “ I stay busy babysitting my grandbabies. I’m the fun grandma! We love to spend most of our time outside playing, jumping on the trampoline, and having wrestling matches. What kind of grandma would I be if I couldn’t keep up and do what they can?”
Julie was referred to Adaptive 4 years ago in need of prosthesis. “At my annual check-up, my doctor found a lump in my left breast. After confirming the lump was cancerous and being diagnosed with Intraductal Carcinoma, I had 2 surgeries in 9 days. Lucky, after everything happening so quickly, I didn’t need any treatment. Things started to heal quickly and I was ready for the next step; you guys”.
She is one of Monica’s regular mastectomy patients and is always so happy and energetic for her appointments. “From the start, I was completely comfortable with Monica. She knows what she’s doing, is easy to talk too, and I never leave with a question unanswered”.
Today, Julie enjoys cooking on her new backyard porch. “I love my prosthesis, I sometimes forget it’s there. I’m confident because I’m comfortable and know that the prosthesis is not noticeable. All the styles and colors yall offer in the prosthesis bras is no different then me going shopping at Southland Mall. I’m happy with the service and support Monica and Adaptive has given me, thank you!”
Thank you Mrs. Julie! We’ll see you next time!
